A letter from our Founder and CEO: Welcoming Mark Gudiksen as President of Lunar Energy

Today, I'm thrilled to welcome Mark Gudiksen to Lunar Energy as President.

Mark has been part of the Lunar story for years. He's a board member, a longtime investor through his work as Managing Partner at Piva Capital, and one of our very first customers.

Over the years, he's built a deep understanding of our business, our products, our customers, and the opportunity in front of us. More than that, he cares deeply about what we're building.

Homes are electrifying, utility bills are rising, and the grid is under more pressure. As these trends converge, distributed energy is becoming a bigger part of how we power everything in our lives.

This is an important growth moment for Lunar. In February, we announced $232 million of prior funding. Since then, we've grown deployments of the Lunar System, worked closely with our installation partners, introduced new offers with partners like Octopus Energy, and expanded into new markets. The next phase is about bringing all of this to more customers, in more places, at greater scale.

Adding Mark as President gives us another leader who's been invested in this work for years and is ready to help build what's next alongside our exceptional team.

Lunar has always been built by people who believe energy can work better - for the homeowners and businesses who depend on it, and for the grid that serves them.
