Installers have a new way to offer monthly payment options for the Lunar System to their customers.

Lunar Energy has been added to the Approved Vendor List (AVL) for Skylight Lending, a financing platform built around solar, battery storage, and virtual power plant programs.

The listing makes the Lunar System eligible for Skylight’s monthly lease — a structure where the homeowner pays a predictable monthly rate for their system, and the installer gets paid upfront by Skylight.

Skylight currently operates in eight states, including California and Texas, where Lunar has an active and growing installer base. Their California expansion makes this a timely addition — and for installers in Texas already working within the Skylight network, it’s available now.

This adds a monthly lease path alongside Lunar’s existing prepaid lease options, giving installers more ways to meet customers where they are on financing.

The Lunar System is exactly the kind of product we built Skylight to support — high quality hardware with the software infrastructure behind it. We’re glad to have them on the list, and we’re looking forward to bringing this option to installers in California and across our network." — Thomas Dungan, Founder & CEO, Skylight Lending
Skylight is a strong addition. Installers in California and Texas now have a monthly lease option for the Lunar System that's straightforward to sell — predictable rate for the homeowner, simple payment for the installer, all delivered in a process developed for installer ease. That's a good tool." — Ed Gunn, VP Revenue, Lunar Energy

Installers who work with Skylight can begin quoting Lunar projects through the Skylight installer portal. To learn more about Skylight Lending, visit their website.
