to consume grid power when it’s at its cheapest and most plentiful.

Used by energy companies and utilities,
Lunar’s Gridshare Software Platform already manages all of Sunrun’s VPPs, including nearly 130,000 home batteries — most from non-Lunar manufacturers — that can dispatch energy 
when the grid needs it most.

- along with the boom in data center demand - grid-connected batteries have become one of the most versatile ways to boost its resiliency.

The 3CE VPP program is the latest in a series of such programs Lunar Energy has inked with CCAs. The company also applies its Gridshare Platform for Ava Community Energy, Peninsula Clean Energy, Silicon Valley Clean Energy and the California Choice Energy Authority, a group of CCAs in California.
